The executive members of Wayanad district peace forum met on 8th July at 2.30 pm in Neethi Vedhi office. Mr. K I Thomas, the chairman presided over the meeting. Ms Flaisy Jose presented the minutes of the previous meeting. Mr. James Thomas gave details of the panchayat level meeting being held these days. It is decided to ask the representative from district body to participate in the panchayat level meeting for better coordination. The need of occasional video meetings of district forum members was highlighted. Wild life conflict, Tribal land distribution issues, need of psychological support to senior citizens in the covid period and online education issues were decided to be taken up in the coming months by different subgroups of district forum.
