Neethi Vedhi organized a symposium on serious survival issues faced by adivasis as part of indigenous day celebrations on 9th August at Meenangadi. Mr E G Joseph, Program committee chairman welcomed the panelists. Dr Thomas Joseph Therakam, former president, was the moderator. Mr Vinu Kidachulan and Mr Rajesh Anchilan spoke on the issues related to tribal education. Dr Narayanan presented various dimensions of adivasi development. Ms Chithra Nilambur spoke about the cultural conflicts faced by adivasis. Mr Praveen Kumar proposed vote of thanks.
