State Adivasi forum leaders meet

Neethi Vedhi organized a state level meeting of Adivasi leaders of Kerala from 1st to 3rd January at Pavana pastoral centre Mananthavady. There were 40 participants from 10 districts. Mr. Krishnan Moopil from Kasargod presided over the initial session. Adv. Fr. Stephen Mathew inaugurated the coming together. Mr. James Thomas facilitated the programs. The members shared various issues faced by Adivasis in different districts. The importance of united and committed work by Adivasis irrespective of political and community affiliations was highlighted in the meetings. Expectations and challenges of organization was seriously discussed. The statute of Adivasi forum was studied in detail. New office bearers of the Forum were elected. A detailed action plan for the state level programs was prepared.
