International Indigenous Peoples' Day Organising Committee Meeting

The peace committee meeting of Thavinjal Panchayat was held on 9th July 2026 at the Panchayath hall. Mrs. Rabiya Abbas, Panchayat vice president, presided over the meeting. Ms. Flaisy Jose, Neethi Vedhi Director, facilitated the discussions and explained the role to be plaid by the members in protecting the rights of marginalized communities. Mr. Joseph Mattathilani and Mrs. Anisha Surendran were selected as chairman and convenor of the peace committee. Mr. Raju P A, Mr. Kannan and Ms. Pushpa Chandran were deputed as core team volunteers. Mrs. Anisha Surendran proposed vote of thanks. 34 members participated in the meeting.
