International Indigenous Peoples' Day Organising Committee Meeting
The Organising Committee meeting for the observance of International Indigenous Peoples' Day was held on 27 July at the Sultan Bathery Municipality.

On June 6th, 2026, Peace Committee meeting was held at Edavaka Grama Panchayath. Ms. Flaisy Jose welcomed the participants. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Musthafa T, Panchayath Vice President and inaugurated by Ms. Girija Sudhakaran, the Panchayath president.
Mr. Vinod Thottathil, Standing committee chairperson and Mr Jayaprakash, ward member felicitated the participants.
Ms Leela Balan and Ms Sumithra were selected as Core Team Volunteers. Various issues in the Panchayath requiring intervention of Neethi Vedhi were discussed. Mr Chandran M K, Mananthavady Field Cordinator delivered vote of thanks. 21 persons participated in the peace committee meeting.
