Peace committee meeting at Ambalavayal

Peace committee meeting was organized on 29th May 2024 at Ambalavayal. Ms Valsa Thankachan, Core Team Volunteer welcomed the participants. Mr K I Thomas, District Peace Forum Chairman presided over the meeting. Ms C K Afsath, Panchayath President inaugurated the meeting. Neethi Vedhi Secretary Ms Flaisy Jose was present in the meeting. Ms Mini Saju, Secretary explained about the activities held during the last months. Mr Sadashivan sir was elected as the new chairman of the peace committee and Mr Velu as the convener. A special committee has been formed to visit all the schools within the panchayat limits to understand the situation of the tribal children. Mr Sadasivan proposed vote of thanks. 14 members participated in the peace committee meeting.
