The Organising Committee meeting for the observance of International Indigenous Peoples' Day was held on 27 July at the Sultan Bathery Municipality.
The meeting commenced with the welcome address by Mr. Biju Kakkathode, General Convener of the Organising Committee. The session was chaired by Mrs. Raseena Abdul Khader, Chairperson of the Organising Committee. The meeting was inaugurated by Mr. I. C. Balakrishnan, Hon'ble MLA of Sultan Bathery Constituency and Patron of the Organising Committee.
Different details related to the observance of International Indigenous Peoples' Day were discussed during the meeting. 35 members participated in the meeting.
