Submission of memorandum to the Scheduled Tribes' Minister

On December 12, Neethi Vedhi and National Campaign for People's Right to Information, Wayanad District committee, organized a workshop on RTI to mark the International Human Rights Day and the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution. Ms. Flaisy Jose welcomed the participants. Neethi Vedhi President Adv. Fr. Stephen Mathew presided over the workshop. The Preamble to the constitution was recited by all the participants under the guidance of Mr. K.I Thomas, Chairman, Wayanad District Peace Forum. Mr. E.G Joseph, Retired Deputy Director Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department, Mrs. Maimuna PRI Representative and Mr. Ashraf, member of NCPRI felicitated the function. Mr. Anil Chandroth, an activist of the National Campaign for Right to Information, took a class on Right to Information Law. District level Core team members were selected to streamline the activities in future. Mr. Muhammad Rafi, Key Stone Coordinator proposed a vote of thanks. 78 people from different parts of Wayanad district, participated in the workshop.
