On January 28, Neethi Vedhi honored newly elected Tribal representatives to the local self-government institutions of Wayanad district at Kalpetta MGT Hall. District Peace Forum Chairman Shri K. I. Thomas welcomed the participants.The meeting was presided over by Neethi Vedhi President, Adv. Fr. Stephen Mathew. Kalpetta Municipal Chairperson, Shri P. Vishwanathan inaugurated the program. Shri E. G. Joseph, retired Joint Director of the Scheduled Tribes welfare Department, and Shri K. K. Chandrasekharan, retired Special Grade Grama Panchayat Secretary, facilitated discussions on the development possibilities of tribal communities. 53 people participated in the programme.
