As part of Indigenous day celebration Neethi Vedhi honored selected adivasi leaders and social activists who made valuable contribution in different fields. Kumari Minnumani, Kumari Renuka, Ms Chithra Nilambur, Ms Makkamma, Ms Vellamma, Ms Santhi Sunil, Mr Rajagopal, Mr Aji Thomas, Ms Vinaya and Ms Maimoona were honored by Ms Bindhu Teavher, District Panchayat vice president.
