As part of Indigenous day celebration Neethi Vedhi honored selected adivasi leaders who made valuable contribution in different fields. Ms Cheruvayal Raman, renowned agriculturist, Ms Kumbamma, disabled lady agriculturist, Ms Makkamma and Ms Vellachi, campaigners against alcoholism, Mr Vasudevan Cheekkalloor, author, Ms Kochangode Govindhan, tribal artisan, Dr Vibin BDS, Mr Aneesh M B, Sports athlete, Mr Alathoor Gopinadhan, Agriculturist and Ms Chippiyamma, elderly saksharatha student were honored by Mr Samshad Marakkar, District Panchayat president.
