Conflict Resolution and Conflict Management (ADR)

Neethi Vedhi believes in ADR as it is the best way to settle the case out of the court. It is open and transparent. It is proven as the efficient method by many stalwarts of our society. Our Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, a great lawyer has said ?I realized that the true function of a lawyer was to unite parties driven as under. The lesson was so indelibly burnt into me that a large part of my time during the twenty years of my practice as a lawyer was occupied in bringing about private compromise of hundreds of cases. I lost nothing thereby not even money; certainly not my soul. ?
• Identify and address major ongoing conflicts affecting the target group in the working area
• prevent possible conflicts based on identified trends
• ongoing strategies for community mobilization, awareness, legal assistance, claiming entitlements
• Develop preventive strategies
Neethi Vedhi thus tries its best to mediate between the aggrieved parties, especially among the Tribals, neighbours and relatives. Only when the opposite parties are totally indifferent or adamant then these are referred for the court's intervention.
